As a 24/7 operation, we have openings across all shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and 12-hour schedules. Candidates must be flexible and willing to work any shift based on operational needs. Overtime—both scheduled and unscheduled, including holidays—may also be required. 

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, stairways, and other work areas.
  • Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floors using brooms, mops, and powdered scrubbing and waxing machines.
  • Shampoos carpets.
  • Dusts furniture and equipment.
  • Polishes metalwork such as fixtures and fittings.
  • Washes walls, ceilings, and woodwork.
  • Washes windows, door panels, and sills.
  • Empties wastebaskets and empties and cleans ashtrays.
  • Transports trash and waste to disposal areas.
  • Replenishes bathroom supplies.
  • Replaces light bulbs.
  • Reports malfunctioning equipment to Custodian Supervisor.
  • Assists other Tenant Services areas when required.
  • Ensures that all work performed is done in a safe manner. Directs activities to protect employees from harm and maintain safe working conditions.
  • Occasionally may answer inquires and assist guests.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:  

  • Ability to organize and plan work adhering to deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, and the ability to do so with a wide variety of people.
  • Working knowledge of cleaning techniques and standards of cleanliness.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, and read, write, and understand the English language.
  • Ability to operate equipment related to job duties.
  • Ability to work with little to no supervision.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 

  • Valid Driver’s License required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • One year of experience in custodial services preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
  • Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time.
  • Requires frequent bending, stooping, squatting, and reaching above shoulder level.
  • Requires occasional sitting, climbing, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 75 pounds unassisted.

EQUIPMENT OPERATED: 

  • Brooms, mops, powered floor machines, vacuum cleaners, forklifts, and man-lift at heights of up to 35 ft.
  • Protective Equipment Required: Rubber gloves.

WORKING CONDITIONS: 

  • Hangars, office buildings, and other indoor areas throughout the facility.
  • Potential Hazards: Exposure to materials identified on Material Safety Data Sheets, and carrying objects up and down stairs.

OTHER DUTIES: 

  • May be required to work at both Marana, AZ and Tucson, AZ locations as business needs dictate.  
  • Additional duties may be assigned at the discretion of department management.
