Job Description

OVERVIEW  

The  Corporate Quality Assurance Administrator supports  the Food Safety Quality Assurance team by 

maintaining quality information systems, organizing documentation, and assisting with reporting and 

compliance activities. This role ensures that products, services, and records meet company standards by 

accurately managing data, maintaining files, and supporting audit and reporting processes. The position 

is responsible for logging, organizing, and verifying quality data, assisting with non-conformance 

documentation, coordinating information across departments to support quality objectives. 

RESPONSIBILITIES AND RESULTS 

• Assists in the creation of and maintenance of Standard Work Instructions for quality procedures. 

• Generates and distributes routine quality reports for review by the Food, Safety, and Quality 

Department. 

• Maintains working knowledge of Peterson Farms’ policies to respond to customer, sales, and 

quality inquiries. 

• Organizes and maintains files related to quality procedures, documents, and records.  

• Reviews and compiles information to prepare documentation related to customer, sales, and 

quality requests. 

• Performs data entry into customer portals, as well as various systems to support accurate 

tracking and reporting of plant KPI’s and customer complaints. 

• Maintains general and confidential files with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. 

• Performs general administrative duties such as filing, scanning, and document preparation to 

support Food, Safety, Quality Assurance operations. 

• Assists with research and documentation of quality procedures in compliance with applicable 

quality and food safety standards. 

• Provides verbal and written translation support for training, meetings, and quality documentation 

as needed. 

• Ensure all reports, projects, and requests are completed accurately and delivered in a timely 

manner to meet customer and internal Quality Assurance Requirements. 

• Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to improve processes or data 

accuracy. 

• All other duties as assigned.   

QUALIFICATIONS  

Education  

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 

Work Experience 

• Six months’ experience in administrative role, utilizing communication skills required. 

Skills and Knowledge 

• Proficient using PC, via keyboard/mouse, and various software applications (i.e., Microsoft Office 

Suite and Kronos). 

• Demonstrated ability to maintain integrity and privacy of confidential information. 

• Demonstrates effective interpersonal and communication skills. 

• Ability to work well under pressure and quickly assess and respond appropriately to questions. 

• Ability to adapt to change and learn quickly. 

• Good organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
