 Lifesteps is hiring a Full-Time Child Care Assistant in the Butler area.

Position Summary: 

The Teacher Aide (Child Care Assistant) provides a high quality of care to enrolled children. Ensures the needs of the children are being met and assists in the implementation and direction of daily routines and activities.

This Full-Time position works Monday through Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm with weekends off! 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

  • Candidate shall meet one of the following criteria:
  • Possession of a Child Development Associate’s (CDA) certificate
  • Completion of at least 2 years of full-time postsecondary study (60 credits) in a related field
  • Possession of an associate’s degree or higher
  • Demonstrated ability to complete basic computer tasks
  • Possess strong communications skills (verbal and written); able to communicate information to a diverse audience

Preferred:

  • One or more years’ experience teaching in an integrated classroom setting
  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education
  • Private Academic Teacher Certification in Nursery/Kinder
