The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) is a member of the health care team who provides comprehensive health care services to patients. The APRN engages in independent decision making to provide health care services to individuals throughout their life span. The APRN provides physical and psychological health assessments, formulates diagnosis, orders and interprets diagnostic procedures, prescribes appropriate treatments, manages acute and chronic conditions, and provides patient education and counseling, ensuring continuity of care and respect for individuals in the communities served. The APRN may also perform minor surgical procedures within their scope.

The posted pay range is for a 40-hour workweek (1.0 FTE). The actual rate of pay offered within this range may depend on several factors, such as FTE, skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions.
