Caregiver Responsibilities

Responsibilities may vary depending on the client’s needs, but can include:

Providing companionship and emotional support
Assisting with personal care such as bathing, grooming, and toileting
Light housekeeping and laundry
Meal planning and preparation
Transportation to appointments and errands
Following individualized care plans
Communicating professionally with clients, families, and team members
Supporting client safety, comfort, and independence
Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

Willingness to complete all required employment screenings and training
Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
Clean driving record
Previous caregiving or home care experience preferred, but not required
Reliable transportation
Access to email and a smartphone
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain client confidentiality and professionalism at all times
