Description
Behavior Technicians/RBT’s are responsible for providing direct implementation of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Services to people on the autism spectrum so that they are able to reach their full potential. Behavior Technicians help people improve behavior, communication, social and functional skills. The Behavior Technician will follow the treatment plan developed by the supervising BCBA or BCaBA which can also include staff training, recreation, and leisure activities, teaching functional communication, achieving increased independence, productivity, and inclusion in the community.
If you are not yet registered, but you are interested in becoming a Registered Behavior Technician, we can help you!! We will provide the training needed to become an RBT and cover the cost of the exam. You will work directly with a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst who will guide you through the process!
In Jefferson County we are looking for qualified candidates who are either RBT's or wishing to become RBT's to work with adults with autism and related disabilities. These adults need guidance and support to work on their unique challenges and social skills to develop more socially appropriate behaviors and develop coping strategies when faced with difficult situations. We are willing to train if you have the patience and dedication!
In this role you will:
Behavior Technicians must also be able to work independently and/or in a team setting. They must stay current with all trainings, certifications, and/or licensure as required for the position. Dependable and reliable attendance is also a must as clients and their families depend on us to provide the services we have agreed to.

Requirements
We are looking for someone who:
$18 per hour starting without credential/$22 per hour starting with credential depending on experience
