Ingenuity Prep prepares PreK, Elementary, Middle school students in Ward 8 to succeed in college and beyond as impactful civic leaders. We are seeking a Substitute Teacher to support our Early Childhood Academy during the 2025-2026 school year. The substitute teacher will be matched to classrooms based on teacher leave. Depending on the need, the substitute teacher may support a classroom for one day or consecutive weeks. We seek candidates who are deeply committed to our students, have a passion for instruction, and want to be part of a dynamic team. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a Full-Time Substitute Teacher, you will:

• Work within your classroom team to create a joyful, efficient, learning-focused classroom that leads to exemplary student growth -- both academically and socio-emotionally.
• Provide emotional constancy and support for your students -- and your colleagues.
• Work with your team to analyze a range of summative and formative assessment data to thoughtfully adjust and differentiate instruction.
• Collaborate with and support colleagues in the classroom and through weekly professional development opportunities.
• Support students during breakfast and lunch.
• Receive regular, individualized coaching from IP’s instructional leadership team to grow your practice.

• Competitive pay - $20.57 - $25.69 hourly (commensurate with years 1-10 years experience)
