Job Description

Hiring 2nd & 3rd shift Millwright/Maintenance Technicians! Starting pay for this position starts at $24.03+ an hour.

You will inspect, repair, replace, install, and maintain mechanical production equipment to ensure peak performance and efficiency.

What You’ll Do:

  • Inspects plant equipment for defects such as misalignment, wear, unusual noises, insufficient lubrication, and RPMs.
  • Determines the best way of making repairs to minimize interruption of production and performs PM inspection and repairs.
  • Advises when immediate shutdown of equipment is necessary to minimize damage or when temporary continued operation will have no harmful defects.
  • Dismantles, cleans, repairs, replaces, installs, maintains, assembles, and lubricates mechanical equipment.
  • Adjust equipment for proper operating characteristics.
  • Make either temporary or permanent repairs.
  • Assembles and aligns gears, bearings, and shafts.
  • Operates simple machine tools such as drill presses, pipe cutting, threading machines, and power saws.
  • Installs and repairs pipes, fittings, drains, and other pipefitting work related to the trade.
  • Erects scaffolds and performs simple rigging as necessary.
  • Changes, sets up, and adjusts equipment as required by current operating conditions.
  • Works with outside repair crews as directed on emergency breakdowns or installations.
  • Keeps work areas and equipment clean and orderly.
  • Receives instructions covering the scheduled emergency repair, installation, and inspection work to be done.

What We Need from You:

  • Experience: 1-2 years in a manufacturing environment as a millwright/maintenance technician
  • Availability: Willingness to work overtime as needed to meet production demands.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and perform frequent physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling.
  • Education: High School Diploma preferred.
