Job Summary
The Medical Assistant (MA) is responsible for the care and coordination of members assigned to their care team. In addition, MAs are responsible for the completion of clinic tasks to ensure the accomplishment of daily patient care and safe clinic flow. The position will complete daily assignments, monitor and track appointments, follow up on no-shows, processes referrals and schedule follow-up and specialty appointments. This position will be responsible for providing excellent internal and external customer service. The Medical Assistant is responsible for making sure that all patient/client data is accurate and kept secure and will also ensure HIPAA compliance.
