Position Description

Certerra Sub- Surface- Enviro-Drill is seeking a dependable and Hardworking Geotechnical Driller Helper to Join our team in Bridge City, Texas. This role involves assisting our drilling crew with soil sampling and subsurface exploration projects. This entry level position is ideal for individuals who thrive in an outdoor work environment, is comfortable with travel to job sites, and are eager to contribute to a hands-on team environment. Travel throughout Texas and parts of Louisiana will be required.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assist Driller with daily drilling operations
• Load/unload drilling equipment (Tools, Materials)
• Support soil and rock sample collection & proper labeling
• Maintain/Clean drilling equipment and jobsite areas
• Perform general labor duties as needed
• Travel to Various Job sites (local & out of town)
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Education/Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/ GED
• Valid driver’s license (CDL is a plus but not required)
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks
• Comfortable working outdoors in Various Weather Conditions
• Willingness to Learn
• Able to travel
• Clean Background check
• Clean Driving record
• Be able to pass pre-employment drug screen

Physical Demands:

Ability to stoop, kneel and to routinely lift and carry 50 pounds

Clean driving record and capable of being insured for driving company vehicles Able to work in variable outside conditions, including extreme heat or cold if need
