Job Description

The Physician Assistant under the direct supervision of a Physician performs a variety of functions and technical procedures necessary for admission, assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up and outcome evaluation.  Provides diagnostic, therapeutic and preventive health care services.  Participates in performance improvement, research and educational activities.

Qualifications
  • Graduate from an Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) Program or equivalent as approved by the New York State Education Department.
  • New York State Licensed Physician Assistant
  • Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS).
  • New York State mandated Infection Control Course certificate
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
