Sales Associate with Food Services (Ditsch Products)

OXXO USA is seeking a friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented Sales Associate with Food Services to join our team at one of our retail locations featuring Ditsch, a globally recognized brand known for its artisan-quality pretzels, pizzas, and baked snacks.

As a Sales Associate, you’ll be hands-on in preparing and serving freshly baked Ditsch products while delivering a warm, welcoming experience to every customer. You’ll help bring Ditsch’s European baking tradition to life—blending OXXO USA’s convenience excellence with Ditsch’s commitment to quality, freshness, and great taste.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare, bake, and serve Ditsch products such as pretzels, pizzas, and baked snacks according to company recipes and quality standards.
• Ensure all food items are fresh, properly handled, and consistently presented throughout the day.
• Maintain a clean and organized food prep area, service counter, and display case.
• Provide excellent customer service—greeting guests, answering product questions, and assisting with orders.
• Operate food service equipment and ovens safely and efficiently.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and temperature control procedures in compliance with health regulations and company policies.
• Assist with stocking, rotating inventory, and checking product expiration dates.
• Handle transactions accurately at the register and ensure a smooth checkout experience.
• Support store operations by keeping shelves stocked, assisting with deliveries, and maintaining a clean work environment.
• Promote the Ditsch brand by showcasing enthusiasm, knowledge, and pride in the products served.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• One (1) or more years of experience in food service, quick service restaurant, bakery, or retail with food handling (preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Food handler certification (must obtain within required time after hire).

 JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Schedule flexibility, including availability on nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move product, and stay active on your feet throughout the shift.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
