MANUFACTURING INTERN

Job Description:

Batory Foods is launching The Batory Manufacturing System (BMS) at our Elk Grove Village facility. This initiative is a critical step toward improving operational visibility, inventory accuracy, and process standardization across the site.

During the implementation phase, the facility will operate in a dual-system environment while BMS progresses through Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and initial deployment. The intern will play a key role in supporting this transition by ensuring accurate data entry, validating system outputs, and assisting in issue identification and resolution.

This is a hands-on opportunity to work directly with manufacturing, inventory control, and system implementation teams during a live system launch.

  THIS 10-WEEK ON SITE INTERNSHIP LOCATED IN  OUR ELK GROVE VILLAGE FACILITY

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with data entry into BMS while maintaining accuracy across both legacy and new systems during parallel operation.
  • Support collection, organization, and migration of operational and inventory data into BMS.
  • Perform data validation checks to ensure system accuracy and consistency across platforms.
  • Identify and help troubleshoot data discrepancies, system errors, and exception messages.
  • Work closely with manufacturing, engineering, and inventory teams to resolve data and process gaps.
  • Assist in documenting processes, issues, and corrective actions during implementation.
  • Support testing activities related to BMS functionality and reporting as part of the system validation effort.
  • Provide general operational support to ensure continuity during system transition

Education and Qualifications

  • Pursuing a degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing concepts and tools is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Professional demeanor and strong organizational skills.
