Summary (Major Purpose of the Role):

As a Receiving Operator, you will be tasked to ensure the received product is put away accurately and timely while meeting and adhering to all safety requirements. As a Putaway Driver, you will be responsible for taking audited pallets from either the assigned Runner or dock to be put away in the correct rack location. As a Runner, you will be responsible for taking audited pallets to the assigned aisle or area to stage for the Putaway Driver to complete putaway in the assigned storage location. Putaway drivers and Runners will utilize different pieces of Material Handling Equipment to operate in their function including but not limited to: Double Pallet Jacks and Reach Trucks. 

The primary product lines you’ll oversee are durable medical goods ranging from canes to wheelchairs, in-home hospital beds and respiratory products. These products are critical to the lives of our customers and you’ll be a part of leading this team in driving best-in-class metrics in Safety, Quality, Service, and of course, our People. Schedule is  Monday-Friday 3:30pm-12am. Pay $19.85 an hour + a pay differential of $1.00 for working nights.


Main Activities/Responsibilities:

  • Putaway or stage product according to the RF scanner and recheck them to ensure accuracy
  • De-casing product as needed
  • Unpack, sort and count parts purchase orders received from vendors as needed
  • Notify receiving issues of all receiving discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Address any misprints, false quantities, and closed carton orders
  • Inspect items for quality and quantity and any evidence of dust, paint, or dents
  • Ensure that any product not up to the quality standards are reported to the floor leadership
  • Ensure effective wrapping for product being stored in the bin location
  • Develop an attitude of support and participate in an environment of continuous improvement
  • Ensure the compliance of safety norms to include maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe work area
  • Other duties may be assigned
