The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) provides clinical and administrative support to licensed medical providers within outpatient and residential substance use treatment programs. The CMA assists with patient care coordination, medical procedures, documentation, and medication-related workflows under provider supervision, ensuring safe, efficient, and patient-centered care.
Key Duties:
Requirements
Qualified candidates will have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, and be a graduate of an accredited medical assisting program. Candidates must have a current CMA certification (AAMA, NHA, or equivalent). CPR/BLS certification is a plus. Qualified candidates will have a basic knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures, and preferably experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, outpatient or residential healthcare settings.
