Position: Floor Technician | Full-Time

Schedule: 3rd Shift - Every Friday and Saturday Off

Location: Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport in Panama City, FL.

Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour

Position Overview:

We are looking for a reliable, full-time Floor Technician to join our team at Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport in Panama City, FL. This is a consistent, stable position where you will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing the appearance and safety of our clients' flooring surfaces.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning, buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing of flooring surfaces including hardwood, tile, vinyl, and carpet using appropriate equipment and techniques.
• Assess the condition of floors and execute restoration processes to remove stains, scratches, and other imperfections.
• Operate floor care equipment such as buffers, scrubbers, extractors, and carpet cleaners safely and effectively.
• Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure adherence to company standards and client specifications, addressing any deficiencies promptly.
• Maintain inventory levels of cleaning supplies, tools, and equipment necessary for floor care operations.
• Interact professionally with clients and respond to inquiries or requests, demonstrating a commitment to excellent service.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to coordinate work schedules and ensure seamless execution of floor care services.
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly.
• Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times.

Qualifications:

• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
• Able to be on your feet and physically active throughout your shift.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Proficiency in operating floor care equipment and knowledge of appropriate cleaning techniques and chemicals preferred.
• Previous experience in floor care or janitorial services preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
• Must successfully complete a pre-employment background check.
