Job Title: Quality Engineer 

Company: G&F Precision Molding Inc.
 Department: Quality
 Reports to: Director of Quality
 Location: Onsite – Danvers, MA (5 days/week)
 Salary Range: $80,000 – $85,000 per year

The Opportunity
 We are seeking a dedicated Quality Engineer to join our team and ensure that products and processes meet established quality standards, improving reliability, safety, and efficiency across manufacturing and service industries. 

What You’ll Do

  • Direct Operations: Work with production to monitor and correct deviations from quality standards.
  • Strategic Planning: Align quality objectives with organizational goals and customer expectations.
  • Performance Metrics: Drive and execute management goals for on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, labor costs, and material cost reduction.
  • ERP & Reporting: Work with production to keep the ERP system data accurate and provide monthly forecasting for open sales.
  • Team Leadership: Set quality standards, designing testing strategies, and guiding the QA team towards achieving those standards.
  • Technical Collaboration: Identifying potential quality issues and ensuring that product is built to be efficient and manufacturable.
  • Inventory Control: Inspecting products to ensure they meet the required specification.

 What You’ll Bring

  • Experience: Minimum 1 years of experience in quality assurance.
  • Education: Four-year technical degree or equivalent experience; coursework in a field that offers as opportunity to gain a well-rounded background with additional class work in problem-solving techniques.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with ERP systems; ISO 9001 and/or 13485 experience preferred. Expert knowledge of GD&T, knowledge of Solidworks, Vision systems programming experience (QVIOGP SmartScope preferred), Experience analyzing results of Statistical Process Control (SPC), Design of Experiment (D.O.E.), Gage R&R, and process capability; use of Minitab procedures.
  • Communication: Strong ability to handle technical discussions and comply with complex written and verbal directions.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to work in a cleanroom environment (PPE required), lift to 25 lbs, and stand/bend for up to 8 hours per day.
  • Travel: Ability to travel to Fiskdale, MA location is required.
