Northpointe is a Community Mental Health (CMH) organization providing services to individuals with serious mental illness, emotional disturbance, substance abuse disorders, and intellectual/developmental disabilities across Iron, Dickinson, and Menominee counties in the UP of Michigan. Northpointe itself was established in 1995 but has roots as a CMH dating back to 1964. Our presence can be found through remote emergency services, in school and home-based programs, and in clinical and residential home settings.
Job Purpose
We are looking for a passionate, driven individual to join our team as a Behavioral Technician (BT) within our Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) department serving Iron, Menominee, and Dickinson counties. This role is offered on a full-time, hourly basis and based at our offices in Iron Mountain, MI.

Essential Duties
The Behavior Technician (BT) provides Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to individuals with Autism and/or other behavior-related conditions. The behavioral intervention is provided at an appropriate level of intensity in an appropriate setting(s) for an appropriate period of time depending on the needs of the individual and their family within their community. ABA services are provided to increase developmentally appropriate skills to facilitate an individual's independence and are provided under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BORA) or other appropriately qualified professional.
