Role Overview

Support supply chain operations by assisting with day-to-day project activities and procurement efforts. This role provides hands-on exposure to the full procurement lifecycle, including sourcing, issuing RFQs, managing purchase orders, and coordinating with vendors. The position works collaboratively with cross-functional teams to help ensure project schedules are met while maintaining a strong focus on quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery of materials and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and issue Requests for Proposal (RFP) and Requests for Quote (RFQ) for procurements.
  • Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers to build a qualified supplier base.
  • Review sourcing data to support business decisions and strategic direction.
  • Evaluate supplier proposals and assist with contract negotiations within scope and budget.
  • Monitor contracts to ensure vendor compliance with requirements.
  • Collaborate with quality and vendors to resolve issues with defective or nonconforming goods or services.
  • Track and evaluate supplier performance including quality, delivery, and reliability.
  • Support development of long-term supplier agreements.
  • Assist with major procurement activities including capital equipment and project sourcing.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records (costs, delivery, quality, performance).
  • Support management in achieving organizational goals and project milestones.
