Job Description

The Marketing & Commercial Operations Intern supports the Commercial Team by assisting with market analysis, reporting, sales enablement, and process improvement initiatives that enhance commercial visibility and operational efficiency. This position is designed to provide hands-onexposure to commercial operations within a manufacturing environment while contributing to strategic projects that support customer growth, territory planning, reporting standardization, and long-term business development efforts. The role helps improve access to actionable commercial data, streamline internal processes, and support the development of standardized sales and marketing resources across the organization.

Key Duties:

- Support customer and market analysis efforts to identify growth opportunities, dormant accounts, and underserved territories

· Review customer account data and assist Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) with territory planning initiatives

· Assist in preparing data and insights for ISR quarterly reviews and commercial planning discussions

· Refresh, organize, and maintain marketing collateral, presentations, and customer-facing materials

· Develop market-specific sell sheets, battle cards, and sales resources in collaboration with the commercial team

· Assist with standardizing customer-facing messaging and commercial documentation

· Build, update, and maintain commercial reporting dashboards and tracking tools

· Support reporting related to lead times, mold availability by plant

· Consignment warehouse inventory

· Commercial activity and opportunity tracking

· Analyze product performance, customer purchasing trends, and market activity

· Assist with identifying top-selling and underperforming products, models, and sizes

· Support development of “Go-to-Market” recommendations and commercial insights based on data findings

· Document commercial workflows, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process improvement initiatives

· Help centralize commercial documents and improve version-control and file organization practices

· Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, customer service, operations, and leadership teams

· Perform additional administrative, reporting, or project-based duties as assigned

Requirements & Qualifications

Education

· Currently pursuing or recently completed an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in: Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, or a related field

· Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

· Ability to analyze data and present findings in a clear and professional manner

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment

· Professionalism and ability to handle sensitive business information appropriately

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience with CRM systems, reporting tools, or dashboard creation preferred

· Familiarity with data analysis, sales reporting, or marketing analytics is a plus

· Interest in manufacturing, commercial operations, business development, or process improvement

· Experience creating presentations, marketing materials, or business reports preferred
