 Veterinary Technician – Full-Time Opportunity

📍 Collingswood, NJ
🕐 Full-Time Schedule | Rotating Saturdays Required
💲 $25–$30/hour depending on experience

For more than 65 years, Rothman Animal Hospital has provided trusted veterinary care to pets and families throughout the community. Our busy multi-doctor hospital cares for dogs, cats, and exotic pets while offering advanced medical services in a welcoming and team-oriented environment.

We are currently seeking an Experienced Veterinary Technician who enjoys hands-on patient care, collaboration, and building strong relationships with both clients and coworkers.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

  • Certified Veterinary Technician preferred
  • 1+ years of veterinary technician experience preferred
  • Skilled in:
    • venipuncture and IV catheter placement
    • anesthesia monitoring
    • surgical assistance
    • patient restraint and treatments
    • diagnostic imaging and EKGs
  • Strong communication and client education skills
  • Positive attitude with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Flexible schedule availability including rotating Saturdays

Responsibilities Include

  • Assist veterinarians with appointments, procedures, diagnostics, and surgery
  • Monitor anesthesia and support patient recovery
  • Collect laboratory samples and administer medications
  • Perform radiographs and assist with diagnostics
  • Educate pet owners regarding treatments, discharge care, and preventive medicine
  • Maintain accurate medical records and support efficient workflow
  • Work collaboratively with the entire hospital team to deliver high-quality patient care
