Job Description
DREAM Development Intern (AmeriCorps Summer Member)
The DREAM Development Intern serves as an AmeriCorps member supporting special projects that strengthen DREAM’s capacity and help us reach more youth and families. This position is designed to provide broad exposure to the field of nonprofit development while offering hands-on experience in organizational growth, strategy, communications, partnerships, and systems-building.
Throughout the summer, the member will contribute to a range of development and capacity-building efforts, which may include marketing collateral, database work, networking and organizing, campaign frameworks, partnership outreach, and growth planning. In addition to this broad experience, each Development Intern will focus primarily on a strategic project area that supports DREAM’s future growth (see below for additional detail).
This position is ideal for someone who is excited to learn about nonprofit leadership and development, enjoys both strategy and hands-on project work, and wants to help build structures that expand opportunity for youth.

Compensation and Term:
Travel: Travel includes local travel during the work hours described. Out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be occasionally expected.
