What You will be doing

As a Co-op, you will get real life experience with project management tools and processes. Up-close cross-functional work with experienced Project Managers and Product Design Engineers. You will get an inside view of the accomplishments and challenges of working with a large global design and manufacturing company day to day. You will bring new and creative ideas with a continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities:   

  • Review and support engineering design change requests.
  • Quality documentation support.
  • Support and evaluate performance of project health.
  • Help to minimize disturbances in project implementation by steering improvements.
  • Aid in ensuring projects is delivered on time with the agreed quality, cost, and features according to the requested volumes and production capacity.
  • Support with identifying and managing risks with risk mitigation plans.
  • Utilize Microsoft tools to create reports and dashboards (i.e.: Power App, Power BI)
  • Support the Project Management Office (PMO) in their day-to-day activities.
  • Support on deviations and campaigns documentation controlling and participate in the x-functional meeting representing PMO

You are a student who is prepared to work in a challenging and fast-paced environment, gaining experience and knowledge in various aspects of engineering. As a valued member of the engineering team within TTI, you will have the opportunity to work directly with various roles in our organization. You will report to the Group Manager, Chassis Project Management Office.

Required: 

  • Must be enrolled and pursuing a degree in Engineering or Technology at an accredited school and have completed 30 semester hours of undergraduate studies. 
  • Applicants must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.75. 
  • Co-ops are not enrolled in academic courses during their co-op rotation and may work up to 40 hours per week

The hourly rate for these roles is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, academic classification, and degree seeking area of study.
