SWBC is seeking talented students to join our College Intern Program in San Antonio, Texas. This is an exciting opportunity for college students who are motivated and eager to learn within their educational field of study.  Interns will gain practical hands-on experience and training that will provide an opportunity for growth, learning and development within the financial services industry.  Full-time and part-time paid internship opportunities will be available in numerous departments, which may include: Information Technology, Accounting, Marketing, Human Resources, Mortgage, Insurance, Legal, PEO, Lender Placed Operations, Financial Institutions, Investment Services and Training. Interns will be placed within a specific division based on interest, experience, academic coursework, SWBC’s business need, and flexibility with college/university schedule.

Essential duties include the following:

• Assist the Specialty Products team with intake and processing of GAP cancellation requests.
• Review and log incoming cancellation documentation.
• Perform accurate data entry and update records in internal systems.
• Ensure timely and compliant cancellation processing.
• Assist with incoming quote requests.
• Prepare and distribute weekly reporting to designated clients.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain data integrity and support daily workflows.
• Support additional tasks and projects as needed.

Serious candidates will possess the minimum qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Business or related program from an accredited university/college.
• Expected graduation date of December 2026 or later.
• Ability to effectively utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Access
• Willing to double check work to ensure quality delivery of work items
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills required.
• Detail oriented and possess excellent follow up skills.
• Organized and able to adapt well to change.
• Passion and desire for learning and a proactive energy for getting things done.
• Ability to display maturity and a high level of professionalism.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
