The intern supports the Respiratory Department by managing equipment cleaning, distribution, and oxygen tank replacement. They provide clinical and patient care support under the supervision of a Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner.
Qualifications
You are currently enrolled in a CoArc-approved Respiratory Therapy Program and must be a second-year student with at least one year of clinical and didactic completion. You are responsible for supporting respiratory equipment operations, including cleaning, assembly, and distribution, under the supervision of a Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner. You must also maintain current BLS and ACLS credentials.

Job Description
EDUCATION
High School Graduate or equivalent. Requires a current and active enrollment in a CoArc approved Respiratory Therapy Program. Must be a second year student.
EXPERIENCE
Requires a minimum of one year of both Clinical and Didactical completion of Respiratory Therapy Academic completion of an accredited CoARC Respiratory Care Program evident by submission of college/university program director or appointee with college/university letterhead.
LICENSURE
None at the time of hire but before progressing into a respiratory therapy position must gain the credential of Registered Respiratory Therapist. Must have BLS.
