Job Summary:   To facilitate disposition (return, dispose or otherwise) of customer owned or supplied tools, equipment  (assets), material, components, data files, quality records and retain/reference samples 

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:         

  • Run reports to determine Obsolete programs and their related tooling and inventory
  • Prepare obsolescence worksheets
  • Gather details and request quotes for non-moving materials
  • Work with multiple departments to gather complete product details and inventory:
    • Purchasing
    • Manufacturing Engineers
    • Quality
    • Tool Room
    • Warehouse
    • Doc Control
    • Estimating
    • Customer Service
  • Utilize IQMS, Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Update documented procedures for obsolete tooling
  • Other projects as identified

ADA Requirements:

  • Typically sits, grasps items and performs keyboarding for frequent operation of a computer
  • Stand, walk, bend, reach or otherwise move about occasionally
  • Lift, move or otherwise transfer items up to 30 lbs. occasionally
  • Occasional exposure to typical machine shop physical hazards
