Job Description

Seeking passionate Patient Care Techs who are committed to delivering great patient care to hospital patients. This is a great opportunity to work alongside our nursing, respiratory and rehabilitation teams in an acute-care setting.

Landmark Hospital values our Patient Care Techs as a significant part of the care of our patients as they journey toward healing.  Landmark Joplin is a 17 bed LTACH and 12 bed Acute Rehabilitation Unit.

Sign-on bonus up to $1000 based on experience.

Full Time Day Shift 6:30pm-7:00am

  • Perform basic care skills under the direct supervision of the licensed nurse including vital signs, intake/output measurement, catheter care, CPR, restraint management, bowel and bladder training and documentation of care in the patient record.
  • Responsible for assisting the licensed nurse in meeting the patients' needs in the areas of personal hygiene, personal care, skin care, grooming, rest, activity, nourishment, body mechanics, elimination, and psychosocial support. 

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
  • Certification (Certified Nursing Assistant for State of Missouri)  (preferred)
  • Current BLS - Required upon hire
  • 1 year healthcare experience (hospital-level experience highly preferred)
  • Must be organized, a team player and detail-oriented
