Wilmington College, an NCAA Division III four-year private institution in Wilmington, Ohio, invites applications for the position of  Athletic Trainer. This is a full-time position with excellent benefits.

Responsibilities

 The successful candidate will assist with team medical coverage, athletic training clinic supervision, and administrative duties. Additionally, candidates will provide athletic training services to the student-athletes of Wilmington College, work directly with the coaching staff and athletes of specifically assigned teams, supervise the AT Clinic during times of operation, maintain an appointment schedule to allow student-athletes to schedule times for evaluation and treatments, complete and maintain medical record keeping. Assist the head athletic trainer with maintaining required pre-participation paperwork and physicals, completion of required concussion baseline testing, monitoring of the inventory of supplies, effectively managing the schedule of required AT coverage of practices and events.

Required Qualifications

Needs to be a BOC certified Athletic Trainer and licensed (or eligible for licensure) in the state of Ohio to practice athletic training. Excellent interpersonal communication skills; ability to analyze situations and develop solutions; ability to travel and work non-traditional hours; ability to foster positive internal and external public relations.
