Job Title: Math and Science Teacher

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Math and Science Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching two classes of 22 students each, fostering an engaging and supportive learning environment. This role requires a commitment to developing strong relationships with students and maintaining high expectations for their academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans in Math and Science that cater to diverse learning styles.

- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.

- Build strong relationships with students to support their academic and personal growth.

- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to promote continuous improvement.

- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum and share best practices.

- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student performance and development.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, Science, or a related field.

- Teaching certification or licensure in relevant subjects.

- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with students.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills.

- Ability to set high expectations and motivate students to achieve their goals.

- Experience in using technology to enhance learning is a plus.

Florida certification in General Education K-6, 5 thru 9 Math, 6 thru 12 Math, 5 thru 9 Science, 6 thru 12 Science, ESOL certification
