POSITION SUMMARY

Performs and schedules housekeeping duties for MMRI. Responsible for overall cleanliness and upkeep of facility and consumable inventory. Schedules, picks up, and delivers items requested by staff. Assists the maintenance team as needed. 

Requirements

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

? Makes rounds throughout the day to clean and monitor systems.

? Cleans and documents scheduled areas daily.

? Ensure uniforms and lab coats are cleaned and accounted for.

? Sets up and breaks down requested areas for events.

? Assist the maintenance staff as needed.

? Maintains records and is responsible for general cleanup of the Institutes’ vehicle.

? Cleanup around buildings to include snow removal in winter months.

? Responsible for upkeep of the consumable inventory. 

? Be available on an on-call basis for emergency response. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

? High School Diploma or equivalent.

? General knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems a plus.

? 1-2 years related experience.

? NYS Driver’s License in good standing.

? Good communicator, personable and flexible to changing priorities.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

? Frequent walking and standing.

? Ability to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance.

? Bending and stooping.
