Job Description

Overview

Kimley-Horn is looking for a CAD Drafter Intern to join our Traffic Operations team in Lake Nona, Florida (FL)! This is not a remote position.

Responsibilities

  • This role supports the transportation team through the production of traffic signal plans and related design documents using AutoCAD, MicroStation, and OpenRoads.
  • Interns will learn one or more software programs specific to their disciplines 
  • Interns will development familiarity with Kimley-Horn's practices, procedures, and standards

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent 
  • Candidates must be enrolled in a technical degree focused on CAD drafting 
  • Detail oriented and professional attitude 
  • Ability to follow directions and work with a team
  • Basic working knowledge with AutoCAD
