Receptionist 
North American Breaker Co. (NABCO) | Office Operations
Full-Time | Hourly | On-site
Schedule: Monday–Friday – 7:30am to 4:00pm
2820 N. Ontario Street, Burbank, CA 91504

The Receptionist plays a key role in supporting daily office operations by serving as a central point of contact for incoming communications and providing administrative and clerical support across departments. This position helps ensure the office runs efficiently through strong organization, communication, and attention to detail while delivering a professional experience for customers, vendors, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
• Answer inbound phone calls, route inquiries appropriately, and take accurate messages
• Respond to internal and external emails in a timely and professional manner
• Manage incoming and outgoing mail and correspondence
• Greet clients, visitors, and vendors and ensure a professional front‑office presence
• Assist with maintaining the office calendar and scheduling as needed
• Support invoicing activities including document preparation and routing
• Perform accurate data entry across business systems and maintain organized filing systems
• Receive customer purchase orders (POs) via email and prepare physical copies for processing
• Manage inventory of office supplies and coordinate replenishment as needed
• Assist accounting and administrative staff with departmental support tasks
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional office environment
• Perform additional clerical or administrative duties as assigned

• Ability to work effectively with accounting staff and other departmental employees
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize daily tasks
• Ability to evaluate and resolve issues as they arise
• Dependable, detail‑oriented, and customer‑focused

Knowledge & Skills Required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Basic computer proficiency
• Comfortable handling multiple administrative tasks simultaneously
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Education & Experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Prior administrative, office support, or clerical experience preferred

Physical Demands
• Continuous sitting and repetitive hand motion
• Frequent telephone and computer use
• Occasional walking and light lifting

Compensation
The recruiting base pay rate for this full-time position is $19.50 per hour.
Within the base pay range, individual compensation is determined by job‑related skills, experience, and qualifications.
