Job Details
The PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency at Jefferson Health is 12-month long, paid, post-graduate experience. The resident will join the pharmacy team at Jefferson Health and integrate themselves in both the operations and clinical areas of pharmacy. Through a variety of core, elective and longitudinal rotations, the resident will gain a perspective of collaborative medication management in areas including pharmacy practice, critical care, infectious diseases and internal medicine. Residents will also participate in hospital committees, perform longitudinal research, and complete a teaching and learning certificate through a program. Our mission is to develop a pharmacist with the skills and abilities to successfully practice as an acute care pharmacist, adjunct faculty member and/or be prepared to pursue and complete PGY2 residency training and board certification.Job Description
