This is a full time variable shift Pharmacist position for SSM St. Mary's Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin working a total of 36 hours per week. Shifts are a combination of days and evenings and occasional overnight coverage. Day shift starts as early as 6:30 a.m. and evening shift goes to 11:00 p.m. The schedule also includes an every third weekend rotation.
A one-time sign on bonus (less taxes) may be available to qualified individuals with a 2 year service commitment.
Job Summary:
Provides pharmaceutical care to patients, verifies medication orders, compounds and dispenses pharmaceuticals in accordance with federal, state and local regulations and hospital policy. Serves as a resource to other healthcare professionals including pharmacy students and residents and ensures that patient care meets standards of safety and effectiveness. Resuscitation Certification Requirement: Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) required within 90 day of employment. Other resuscitation certifications may be required dependent on department.
