TITLE: Inventory and Packaging Clerk - Summer Intern

REPORTS TO: Warehouse Manager

SUMMARY: This full-time summer internship is a great opportunity with the potential to transition into a full-time role. Bring your customer service, communication, and organizational skills and learn how L&M operates across North Carolina, Florida, and Georgia. As an Inventory and Packaging Clerk Intern, you will support quality and production teams' goals by assisting with planning, data entry, Inventory control, and executing production activities to ensure strong performance throughout the season.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work closely with the Warehouse Manager and Sales Teams
Oversee material and product inventories to ensure accurate availability
Direct truck drivers and confirm correct product loading
Support production in D365, including printing tags and inventory receipt and consumption

TRAVEL

On-site position, No travel required

KNOWLEDGE/SKI LLS/ABILITIES:

Builds and maintains strong working relationships with growers and customers while delivering outstanding customer service
Strives to meet customer needs in every practical way
Communicates effectively and provides accurate timely information to the Warehouse Manager
Supports L&M team members by sharing clear and complete inventory information
Familiarity with food safety and security standards and regulations (preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Highly detail-oriented with strong follow-through
Excellent oral and written communication skills

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or General Equivalency Degree (GED)
Some College preferred
Customer service experience
Fresh produce experience preferred - not required
