Pay Range: Targeted salary of $10/hr, based on experience.

  • Must be currently enrolled in a combination of two terms as a student at the University of Oklahoma.

The Center for English as a Second Language (CESL) at the University of Oklahoma (OU) offers in-person English language courses for international students on the Norman campus of the University of Oklahoma, and off-site courses for businesses providing English-language courses for their employees. Our location on campus provides students with access to all University of Oklahoma resources including housing, dining, transportation, libraries, medical facilities, and more. We provide the following English language services: * Intensive English Program: Full time, 20 hours per week including: -grammar -reading -writing -listening -speaking -seminars - U.S. history/government, presentation skills, public speaking, test preparation * Test prep: IELTS, TOEFL iBT * Community English: Part-time courses for students already living in our community -General English, including grammar, speaking, listening, reading, writing * Individualized programs designed for partner universities or businesses
