As a geotechnical field technician assistant you will support the drill crews by collecting soil samples, visit drilling sites, and conducting Geo lab work.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist with boring logs.
  • Collect soil samples from the site.
  • Transfer soil samples from the site to the Geo lab.
  • Drilling site inspections.
  • Analize soil samples in the Geo lab.
  • Assist driller.
  • Follow safety protocol.
  • Reporting any issues to the supervisor/manager
  • Any other task requested by the supervisor/ manager 

Job Skills & Requirements

  • No prior geotechnical drilling experience is required – we provide comprehensive training!
  • Love and enjoy working outdoors.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Always adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
  • Must be a self-starter, reliable, and come with a good and humble attitude
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Clean MVR, background, and drug screening.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Tasks assigned by the supervisor or manager
