Job Description

This is a full-time position Monday-Thursday 8:00 am-6:30 pm.

POSITION SUMMARY   

 The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for performing clerical and technical tasks within the pharmacy operations. This position reports to the Pharmacy Manager. Must hold Pharmacy Technician Certification.  

 POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
 Performs clerical and technical functions for the pharmacist
 Types labels or makes entries into the computer system, including prescription information
 Perform cashier function including end of day processing and bank deposits
 Participate in patient drug assistance program processing
 Participate in internal quality improvement programs
 Interact with patients and staff in a pleasant and professional manner
 Communicate with insurance companies, drug program representatives and any third parties that’s deemed necessary
