Reports to: Senior Operator 

The PET Bottling Line Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining PET bottle production and filling equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing. This role supports production targets while following safety, sanitation, and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate PET bottling and packaging machinery, including: 
    • Bottle blow molding machines 
    • Filling machines 
    • Capping equipment 
    • Labeling systems 
    • Conveyors and packaging equipment 
  • Monitor production line performance and make adjustments as needed. 
  • Conduct startup, shutdown, and changeover procedures. 
  • Inspect bottles, caps, labels, and finished products for quality compliance. 
  • Maintain production records and downtime logs. 
  • Troubleshoot minor mechanical or operational issues. 
  • Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of equipment and work areas. 
  • Follow GMP, HACCP, food safety, and workplace safety procedures. 
  • Coordinate with maintenance and quality teams during production issues. 
  • Minimize product waste and improve operational efficiency. 
  • Ensure proper material handling and inventory usage. 

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent. 
  • Experience in beverage, food, or packaging manufacturing is preferred. 
  • Knowledge of PET bottling systems and automated production equipment. 
  • Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills. 
  • Ability to read production schedules and operating instructions. 
  • Good communication and teamwork skills. 
  • Ability to work shifts, weekends, and overtime if required.
