Job Overview

Here at Fairview, we are now seeking an MRI Technologist to join our imaging team at St John's Hospital in Maplewood, MN! This is a 1.0 FTE (80 hours per 2 weeks) position that will work on the evening shift with a typical schedule working Monday through Friday from 5PM - 1:30AM with occasional on-call. This schedule is subject to change dependent on department needs.

*If the majority of your allocated shift hours are worked between 3pm – 11pm, your hours worked in this shift will receive an additional $6.00 per hour, on top of your base rate & shift differentials.

This position is eligible for a sign on bonus that is prorated based on experience.

The Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist functions independently based on the boundaries of professional practice in performing all major work responsibilities. The Technologist provides services to patients and physicians through the creation of high-quality diagnostic imaging, provides quality age-appropriate patient care according to established standards of practice, and works collaboratively with all members of the health care team. The technologist is responsible for performing these responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements (ARRT).

Required Qualifications

Technical Certificate Upon Hire
ARRT Radiology Tech Upon Hire
Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross) Upon Hire

Preferred Qualifications

1 year experience in a related role
Additional certifications in Imaging Upon Hire
ARRT MRI certification or successful completion within 1-1/2 Yrs
