For Over 60 years, New Canaan Veterinary Hospital has been a family-owned facility serving New Canaan, Wilton, Norwalk, Stamford, and Pound Ridge. We offer a full range of services from routine examinations, preventative care for companion pets, routine & advanced dentistry for dogs and cats, dental digital x-ray, full lab on premises, digital ultrasound, and digital X-rays. Job duties include, but are not limited to:
This role is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient hospital environment while supporting patient care and daily operations. Duties include cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining exam rooms, treatment areas, kennels, and equipment to ensure a hygienic and organized workspace. The position also involves safely and effectively restraining pets for examinations, treatments, and procedures, assisting with diagnostic imaging, and accurately administering medications in accordance with prescribed treatment plans. Team members are expected to support overall hospital operations and workflow as needed, contributing to a collaborative and high-quality standard of care.
Must be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises. May be exposed to bites, scratches, animal waste and potentially contagious diseases.
