Position Summary:

The Program Excellence Specialist supports the adoption, utilization, and ongoing improvement of 

enterprise software platforms across the organization. Working in partnership with IT and 

designated program owners, this role ensures systems are effectively used, requirements are captured 

for expansion, and users are supported with onboarding and training. The Program Excellence 

Specialist plays a vital role in maximizing the value of enterprise tools while supporting process 

efficiency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

•  Support onboarding of new users to enterprise software platforms, providing basic training and 

documentation.

•  Lead cross-functional discovery efforts with program owners and IT to define functional 

requirements, evaluate solution options, and recommend system enhancements aligned with 

organizational goals.

•  Design and document workflows, and collaborate with Talent Development in creating training 

materials and program usage guides

•  Track adoption and usage metrics.

•  Evaluate and prioritize enhancement opportunities, recommending corrective actions, and 

influencing decision-making among stakeholders.

•  Serve as the primary liaison between business units, IT, and external vendors, ensuring 

alignment on system roadmaps, service levels, and integration requirements.

•  Assist in coordinating program upgrades, patches, or new feature rollouts.

•  Drive process improvement initiatives across systems, conducting root-cause analysis, and 

guiding teams through change adoption.

Required Qualifications:

•  Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related field preferred; equivalent experience acceptable.

•  0–3 years of experience in business analysis, program support, or system administration.

•  Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or PMP methodologies preferred.

•  Strong communication and facilitation skills.

•  Proficiency in MS Office and documentation tools; familiarity with enterprise software platforms.

Physical Demands:

•  The employee may be required to sit or stand for extended periods while working on a computer.

•  Occasional lifting of office supplies or equipment, up to 25 pounds, may be required.

Work Environment:

•  The work environment is typically an office setting with regular use of computers and office 

equipment.

•  Fast-paced, requiring adaptability to shifting priorities and tight deadlines.

Travel Requirements:

•  Minimal travel is required for this position, though travel to company offices or other sites may 

occur.

Equipment Used:

•  Personal computers, printers, copiers, and other standard office equipment.

•  MS Office Suite, collaboration tools, and assigned enterprise systems.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

•  This position does not

have direct supervisory responsibilities.
