About the Role

Intralinks is hiring a Finance & Accounting Intern to join our Finance team this summer. You'll work directly with our Accounting and FP&A teams, gaining hands-on exposure to the financial operations of a global SaaS business.

A major focus this summer is supporting an active system migration and report building. You'll spend a significant portion of your time helping extract, clean, validate, and load financial and accounting data, and updating supporting files and schedules along the way. Beyond the migration, you'll pitch in on a variety of accounting and FP&A tasks as they come up. The exact mix will evolve based on team needs, so flexibility and a willingness to roll up your sleeves matter more than any specific prior experience.

What You'll Do

Accounting & Data Migration (primary focus)

• Support an active system migration by downloading, organizing, and loading financial and accounting data from our legacy system into the new platform
• Update and maintain accounting files, schedules, and reconciliations in Excel
• Validate data accuracy, identify discrepancies between systems, and help resolve them
• Help document new processes, workflows, and data mappings
• Assist with month-end close activities as needed (reconciliations, schedule updates, supporting documentation)
• Organize and digitize supporting documentation for audit and internal use

FP&A (secondary focus, as needed)

• Help maintain financial models, dashboards, and reporting templates in Excel
• Support recurring reporting cycles by gathering, refreshing, and quality-checking data
• Assist with ad-hoc analysis projects as they arise
• Build familiarity with how a SaaS Finance organization operates day to day

What We're Looking For

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Strong academic record (3.3+ GPA preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; comfortable with formulas, pivot tables, and working with large data sets
• Detail-oriented and accurate, especially when handling financial data
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Self-motivated, curious, and able to manage repetitive or detail-heavy work without losing accuracy
• Comfortable asking questions and adapting as priorities shift
• Nice to have: Exposure to Workday, Adaptive Planning, Tableau, or any ERP/data tools

New York: The expected base salary for the position is between $25.00/hr. USD/hour to $25.00/hr. USD/hour.In addition, employees in this role may be eligible for consideration on an annual basis for equity awards such as restricted stock units or stock options, based upon individual and business performance at the company’s discretion.
