Job Description
UPMC Western Maryland's 6 West Ortho/Trauma Unit is looking for LPNS! During the interview, you’ll learn about what schedules and shifts we offer as well as our top-notch career ladder! Our Recruitment team will also work with you to determine the best title and pay rate based on your experience. These positions require rotating weekends and holidays.
This position qualifies for a sign-on bonus of up to $12,500 for qualified candidates!
Responsibilities:
Demonstrates an understanding of cultural differences and holds peers accountable for healthy relationships.
Successful completion and graduation from a Licensed Practical Nursing Program approved by the State Board of Nursing.
Successful completion of an IV therapy curriculum required within 4 months of hire/transfer. Must commit to obtain within 4 months of hire/transfer within 30 days of start.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
Basic Life Support OR Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation.
*Current licensure either in the state where the facility is located or, if the facility is in a state covered by the multistate Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC) agreement, a multistate license issued by a participating NLC state. Hires and current employees working on an out-of-state NLC license who later change their residency to the state where the facility is also located will have 60 days upon changing their residency to apply for licensure within that state.
