Job Description:

Black Sheep Columbus is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Line Cook/Dish to join our kitchen team. This position plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen while assisting with food preparation and cooking as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare ingredients and assist in cooking menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Ensure all food preparation areas are sanitized and comply with health and safety regulations.
• Assist with receiving and storing deliveries properly.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations.
• Follow all food safety guidelines and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the kitchen manager or head chef.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
