Job Function

To assist in maintaining pricing integrity storewide; facilitate product ordering, and coordinate and maintain all store computer systems in an accurate and efficient manner.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

· Master all operating company policies and procedures.

· Maintain good communication with co-workers, vendors, and throughout the organization.

· Provide prompt and courteous responses to all questions, inquiries, and requests for

information and price changes according to company policy.

· Develop and maintain total systems knowledge of scanning and front end operations, and of

computer equipment.

· Maintain storewide pricing accuracy at 100% through coordinating and maintaining

UPL’s, verifying ad pricing, correcting UPC and price discrepancies, updating perishable

department prices, address items not on file promptly, back up systems daily, and

accurately implement weekly price changes.

· Ensure the prompt and accurate performance of all daily and weekly functions.

· Prepare all reports as required by store management or ownership in a timely and

accurate manner.

· Perform other duties as directed.

· Observe all store rules and company policies.

· Comply with company grooming and dress codes.

· Observe shift operating hours at all times as scheduled by the manager.

· Adhere to all local, state and federal health and civil code regulations.

· Comply with safety policies and procedures.

· Maintain good communications in the department and throughout the organization.

· Observe security standards by staying alert.

Requirements:

· Must be thoroughly familiar and willing to comply with all priorities and store policies

pertaining to the position, including punctual and reliable attendance.

· Must have the ability to read, write, analyze, interpret, and understand the English language

with sufficient proficiency.

· Must be knowledgeable in the various types of product carried in the store.

· Must be able to perform all duties and responsibilities in an efficient and satisfactory manner

that meets the minimum standards for productivity, accuracy, cleanliness, harmony and safety.

Physical Requirements:

· Must have the physical ability to work on a computer terminal, with or without

accommodation, for uninterrupted periods of up to 2 hours continuously.

· Must have the dexterity and manual skill required to operate the keyboard of a computer

terminal and the numeric keyboard of a standard desktop calculator.

· Must be able to work in an environment that experiences shifts in temperature due to required

conditions for the smooth operation of computer equipment.
