Responsible for the maintenance, calibration, and operation of analytical equipment to ensure accurate chemical analysis of alloys. Additionally, coordinates production steps for molten metal to ensure products meet customer specifications.
Qualifications
You have a strong background in analytical chemistry, preferably with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. You should be adept at managing laboratory processes, including the operation and maintenance of analytical equipment, with a particular advantage if you have experience with LECO and OES. You will also be responsible for ensuring alloy production meets customer specifications and coordinating key production steps during the melting process.

Job Description – Analytical Chemist (Melter Role)
Reports to: Corporate Quality Manager
Qualifications:
Salary: Based on experience, knowledge and education
Annual Bonus: 0% - 15% of base
Vacation: 1-2 weeks depending on experience level
Healthcare, Rx and Dental Benefits: after 90-day probationary period
401K: start day one 100% matching on the first 5%
Work Hours (approximately): 50 hours per week (4am – 2pm) + 1 Saturday per month
