About the role

We are seeking a driven student passionate about cinema and digital media to intern with our marketing team located at our office in Mexico City. In this internship, you will produce creative content, curate a locally resonant social media agenda, and gain valuable hands-on experience. If you are enthusiastic about social media and eager to dive into the world of marketing, we want to hear from you.

Where you'll have impact:

  • Ensuring MUBI’s social media content remains culturally relevant within the Mexican landscape.

  • Cutting film clips used to promote our programming

  • Supporting our social team with community interaction and asset creation

  • Developing ideas and strategies for content marketing initiatives

  • Liaising with external partners to amplify MUBI and deliver related materials

  • Researching and reporting on competitive trends in the marketplace

  • Covering other day-to-day tasks as they arise

What you will bring:

  • You are a current student of cinema, communications, media or related fields.

  • Proficient video editor experienced with Premiere Pro and the Adobe Creative Cloud, as well as a personal computer to run relevant software

  • Organized and resourceful learner with strong writing ability

  • Familiar with and committed to independent and international film

  • Well-versed in social media and up-to-date on digital trends

  • Interested in understanding the industry landscape

Compensation: monthly stipend

Term: 6 months
