Your day to day as a Service Technician

As a Full-Time Service Technician at Fox CDJR Taylor, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional automotive service. Your primary responsibilities will include performing repairs with efficiency and accuracy as outlined on the repair order, strictly adhering to dealership and factory standards. You will diagnose malfunctions, execute necessary repairs, and collaborate with the parts department to ensure timely access to required parts. Communication is key; you will regularly liaise with the Service Manager and Service Advisor to ensure that jobs are completed promptly while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized workspace. Additionally, you will be entrusted with various other duties as assigned, making each day exciting and varied in this fast-paced environment.

What we're looking for in a Service Technician

To excel as a Full-Time Service Technician at Fox CDJR Taylor, candidates should possess a foundational understanding of automotive systems, supported by one year of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience. Familiarity with diagnostic tools and repair software is essential to efficiently assess and address vehicle malfunctions. While Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certifications are preferred, they are not mandatory, allowing graduates with relevant skills and training to thrive in our innovative environment.
