Job Description The Material Handler plays a critical role in supporting production operations within a fast-paced steel manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and thrives in an industrial manufacturing setting with physically active work and production-driven demands. 

Key Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads trucks as required.
• Moves product and materials as required between work stations.
• Empties trash containers and removes trash to dumpster.
• Receives bar stock and loads transfer car.
• Performs various cleaning of plant, equipment, buildings, and grounds as required.
• Checks and maintains gas and fluid levels in lift truck.
• Stores product in proper locations, maintains inventory accuracy.
• Logs in inventory locations, shipping and receiving data.
• Participates in training programs as required.

Shift Availability
Ohio Star Forge currently has openings available on midnight/third shift schedule. Shift placement and training schedules may vary based on business needs and operational requirements.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or forklift experience preferred 
• Ability to lift, move, and transport materials throughout the shift 
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team 
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic required 
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed based on business demands
